A major 7,000+ sq. ft. luxury residential project requiring high-end finish carpentry throughout and consistent attention to detail on a very large scale.
The work included oversized double-piece baseboards exceeding 10 inches, custom backband casings for 9.5-foot doors and arches, extensive panelled wall sections, decorative columns, and a fully cedar-panelled living room crafted from real cedar.
One of the standout spaces was a custom office washroom featuring illuminated onyx fixtures, a concealed click-pusher door system, and specialty “sausage” hinges — blending refined detailing with discreet modern functionality.
A significant challenge involved the curved exterior office extension. Since the home’s façade was built in carved stone, the curve had to be carefully extended and reinforced using a lead-backed roofing transition supported with custom wood framing to maintain the integrity of the original architecture.
Beyond the craftsmanship itself, projects of this calibre demand coordination, precision, and the ability to deliver complex custom details consistently across an entire luxury residence.
